Backhoe (Mini Excavator)

backhoe—also called rear actor or back actor—is a type of excavating equipment, or digger, consisting of a digging bucket on the end of a two-part articulated arm. It is typically mounted on the back of a tractor or front loader, the latter forming a “backhoe loader“. A backhoe digs by drawing earth backwards.

tractor-loader backhoe is a tractor-like vehicle with a backhoe at the rear, a front loader on the other and a swiveling seat to position the operator facing whichever direction is needed at the time.

Sometimes a backhoe arm is used as a crane, by slinging the lifted object from the support linkages behind the scoop The backhoe has often been referred to as the swiss army knife of the construction site. It can do a little bit of everything. The mini excavator may only be fitted with a single-arm, but the variety of attachments gives it a level of diversity that makes it very handy, too.

A backhoe is beneficial for those projects where you don’t do enough digging for an excavator to be worth it, but the digging arm on a backhoe is a bonus to the other capabilities of the machine.

What type of project or site will the machine be working on?

For some specific projects or uses, the large wheels and weight of a backhoe may be a better fit. In farming, for example, backhoes are often seen as a more useful machine than a mini excavator. However, for small demo projects, working in residential areas, or completing shallow groundwork a mini excavator would be a much better fit.

Whatever your project or familiarity with either a backhoe or a mini excavator, this machine is better than the other.

Trencher

A trencher is a piece of construction equipment used to dig trenches, especially for laying pipes or electrical cables, for installing drainage, or in preparation for trench warfare. Trenchers may range in size from walk-behind models, to attachments for a skid loader or tractor, to very heavy tracked heavy equipment.

Chain Trencher

Heavy Duty Trenching Machine  for Cable Digging (Designed By: CAD CAM Gateway)

Working and Basic Structure:

This chain trencher digs a trench with a digging chain or belt that is driven around a rounded metal frame, or boom. It resembles a giant chainsaw. This type of trencher can cut 6 inches wide and 5 feet deep trenches. The angle of the boom can be adjusted to control the depth of the cut. The trencher’s conveyor belt removes the excavated materials. To cut a trench, the boom is held at a fixed angle while the machine creeps slowly. Use these step-by-step instructions to easily dig a hole in no time with the right equipment.

Advantages:

Cable trenching is always time-consuming, highly skilled and hard work and we take great care to perform it properly, with well-trained people equipped with the right tools for this demanding and essential job. Cable Trenching, the installation of underground cables can be realized by our trenching machines. The chain trencher is used for digging narrow trenches (telecommunication, electricity) in both rural and urban areas. The advantage of this system is to minimize time, costs and also damage to the cable. If you need to dig underground for electrical or telecommunication wires, you can use chain trenchers from the power pole to the residence. Using a trencher cuts down on the time needed to create the trench, and this allows you to spend more time securing the wires in the ground.
